Moving from fear into the light

What do we have to do to make sure that we keep moving forward in life?

Face our fears, that’s all we have to do. Become present. So long as we are facing our fears ‘in our minds’ and moving through them on the outside level that’s all we can do, that’s all we need to do. Ask the question; what’s fears are stopping me moving forward in life? And then take your attention into it. Face it in your head, face it fully. However it manifests in your head face it – whether its in pictures, words, sounds, dialogue. Face it. You don’t have to do your whole life in one go but make sure you face it. And make sure you face it on the external level too, in the outside world or nothing will shift.

Face it on the inside, face it on the outside. And feel yourself come into the light.

A sullen and heavy dark image and feeling often feels as though it lights up in your head and your whole reality is seen and felt visually as light as your conscious attention faces the darkness. This is the power of your awareness. The realisation that we have always been awareness, we always were awareness and will continue to be awareness. This is a liberating realisation. All from facing your fears inside and out.

DO NOT TRY TO BE LOVING, DO NOT TRY TO BE SPIRITUAL AND THE PERFECT PERSON. AIM TO FACE YOUR FEARS AND AS YOU COME INTO THE LIGHT OF YOUR AWARENESS THE REST WILL UNFOLD AS IT SHOULD. A RELAXED MIND IS A HAPPY MIND AND ONLY A MIND THAT IS AT PEACE AND DEVOID OF FEAR WILL SUFFICE AND BRING YOU INTO LIGHT.

What else can be said about facing your fears? That when you face them not just once but all the time things will get easier and easier. TAKE IT EASY AT FIRST BUT GAIN MOMENTUM until you are facing them all the time. Life will then be an expression of joy, an expression of freedom, and expression of creativity.

We make life to complicated and I we need to rein it back and ask the question, what is getting in the way?  Sure we want to be present and to experience all those good feelings that come from being present but what is getting in the way; again if its not obvious already its fear.

So how do we really break it down? How do we move through fear? Saying that its not real will not liberate us but feeling it fully will. Embrace it, feel it, observe it, move with it, move into it, keep one eye on it the whole time. Go into it as much as you need  but go into it enough. A lot of the times when you deal with a fear the first time you will really have to feel it fully and move into it or through it as the intensity of the fear is strong. Keep it in your sustained attention as long as you can and then keep bringing it back into your sustained attention.  But then as the fear starts to lose its grip or ‘transmute’ we don’t need to bring our attention or awareness to it as much or as intensely. After a while it may be necessary only to move into it when it ‘comes up’ and it may be enough to lightly observe it without having to feel it so intensely. Eventually when the fear has loosened its grip on you and you have faced it inside and out it may be enough to just let it go when it comes up and then it will ‘stay gone’ and not arise into your consciousness again (or if it does you can then simply let it go again – simply by saying let go).  Then if it were to come back stronger for any reason we might move into it and feel it a little bit more until we can get to the point of letting go again and it disappears completley. In this process we are becoming more present, more aware and bringing the light into our consciousness. This is true freedom that can only be obtained by spirit and NOT through the mind. So in summary view it like a scale from moving into and facing it a lot to observing, to lightly observing, to letting go, to not going into it at all. You fill in the words, you fill in the definitions but this is the way to master this fear.

One last thing. The things you fear the most will always come out and test you at the moments where you really don’t want them too. Does this mean that you should not face them? No. All it means is that you need to accept the future before it happens. Accept this fact and the fears may not even be there by the time it comes around or it may never come around at all.

This is all I have to say today

May the peace be with you (and the force)
